Panama Foundation Assets



The assets that are transferred to the Foundation by the Founder and other entities are not subject to any personal liability. The assets cannot be seized unless there are actions committed by the Foundation or the beneficiaries. Any asset transfer to the Foundation is permanent in nature, but can be reversed is such condition is mentioned upon deposit of such asset. A document (public or private) should be produced for each asset transfer.

Creditors can challenge the transfer of assets to a Foundation if an at of fraud can be proven. The statute of limitation is 3 years for any fraudulent asset transfer. After such time has passed no reversal is possible.
