Foundation Protector
A Protector for a Panama Foundation can either be a legal entity or a natural person. The foundation charter and the regulations shall specify the following powers in regards to the Protector:
- Enable to ensure that Foundation Council is meeting the goals of the Foundation.
- Force the Council to provide administrative records, alter impossible goals, assign new members or increase, reduce them.
- Approve accounts, acts as caretaker (supervisor), add and remove beneficiaries as per the charter rules.
